Director of Institutional Research, Assessment and Student Learning Data (SLD) Initiatives

The Director of Institutional Research, Assessment and Student Learning Data (SLD) Initiatives is responsible for leading the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment (OIRA) and designing comprehensive research and assessment programs that support data-informed decision-making, strategic planning efforts, and contribute to overall institutional effectiveness. The Office of Institutional Research and Assessment (OIRA) is responsible for the University’s official institutional data and statistics regarding students, faculty, and staff. Additionally, the Director is responsible for the leadership and coordination of student learning data initiatives, working between various stakeholders and departments including Gold College, Palmer College, Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences, academic programs, the office of student success, MBU Online, the university registrar, Student Engagement, and other groups engaged in efforts to support greater retention, persistence, and student success.
