Mary Baldwin University’s Sunday Recital Series continues with Lise Keiter-Brotzman, pianist, on Sunday, February 10, at 3 p.m. in Francis Auditorium on the Staunton campus. The program will include works by J. S. Bach, Haydn, Kabalevsky, Mendelssohn-Hensel, and Chopin. The public is invited.
Dr. Keiter-Brotzman joined the music faculty at Mary Baldwin University in fall 1998. She has performed all over the country as a soloist and with other musicians and orchestras. She has recently appeared with oboist Joseph Robinson, the Cypress String Quartet, and the Charlottesville Chamber Orchestra. Dr. Keiter-Brotzman is a member of the College Music Society and the Music Teachers’ National Association. She frequently lectures and conducts master classes.
Originally from Charleston, Illinois, Dr. Keiter-Brotzman has a bachelor of music from Oberlin College, and a master’s degree and a doctorate in music from Indiana University.
