A Great Strides Walk to raise money for ongoing research into cystic fibrosis will be April 3 from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Physical Activities Center track, Tams Street, Staunton. Mary Baldwin College Democrats, Inter Club Council, and Omicron Delta Kappa are sponsoring the event.
Every day in this country, three babies are born with the lung-damaging disease and one person with it dies. Each person who collects $75 will earn an official Cystic Fibrosis Foundation T-shirt.
