Check Out Da and Da at Mary Baldwin

May 8, 2003

Take a drive by Deming Hall on the corner of Prospect and Deming and check out Da and Da, a new tradition for graduating seniors in the Mary Baldwin University art department. Named for the Dadaist movement in 20th century art, Da and Da look remarkably like Ham and Jam (the two dogs on the front pillars of the Administration Building).

This year they have been brightly painted by senior art majors to celebrate completion of their senior year. New versions of Da and Da will appear each year at the end of the spring semester and be on view through May Term.
