New Career Counselor

Ranyne Herbert, who graduated in 2000 from Mary Baldwin University, will join the Student Life staff as career counselor July 14.

Herbert, of Crownsville, Maryland, recently earned a master’s of divinity at Howard University in Washington, D.C. At Mary Baldwin, Herbert was president of the Student Government Association and founded and directed Anointed Voices of Praise, a gospel choir. She also advised students in residence halls and at the college’s Sena Center for Student Life and Career Development. “We are excited Ranyne has decided to join the Mary Baldwin community again,” says Dean of Student Life and Career Development-Diane Kent.
