The march will be followed by a service at Central United Methodist Church at 7:30 p.m. The service will feature several speakers and musical performances by the Al Hamilton Mass Choir and Mary Baldwin’s Anointed Voices of Praise and Ministry of Dance. There will be a free will offering designated for the Booker T. Washington Community Center.
The event is sponsored by the Staunton chapter of the NAACP, Mary Baldwin University’s Office of African American and Multicultural Affairs, and the college’s Department of Philosophy and Religion.
