Lise Keiter-Brotzman will perform a rectial of works by women composers in the next Mary Baldwin University Sunday Recital, Sunday, March 13, at 3 p.m. in Francis Auditorium in Pearce Science Center at Coalter and Frederick streets in Staunton. The concert will feature works by Maria Hester Park, Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel, Amy Beach, Carla Schumann, and Madeleine Dring.
Lise Keiter-Brotzman, piano, joined the faculty at Mary Baldwin University in the fall of 1998 and is currently the music department chair. She has performed nationwide and is active as a solo recitalist, collaborative artist, and soloist with orchestra. Keiter-Brotzman has a bachelor of music from Oberlin Conservatory, and a master’s and a doctorate of music from Indiana University. She is an active member of the College Music Society and of the Music Teachers’ National Association.
