The Mary Baldwin University Board of Trustees approved these faculty positions, promotions, and sabbaticals:
- Dr. Katherine Turner has been named assistant professor of English.
- Dr. Lise Keiter-Brotzman has been promoted to associate professor of music and has been awarded tenure.
- Irene Sarnelle is now associate professor of physical education and has been awarded tenure.
- Dr. Sara Nair James (pictured at right) has been promoted to the rank of professor of art history.
- Dr. Peggy Perozzo has been promoted to associate professor of physics.
The following professors will be taking sabbaticals during the 2005-06 academic year:
