Mary Baldwin Business students traveled to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, in late October to take part in the annual symposium, Ethical Decision Making and Moral Values, sponsored by the Presbyterian churches of Hilton Head. The students prepared cases around the symposium’s theme — on topics ranging from business ethics to public policy to bioethics — exchanging ideas with student representatives of 14 other institutions of higher learning. “I had a wonderful time, and would like to go back if I had the chance,” said Kate Carper ’12. “I learned so much about others and myself.” Pictured from left to right are Carper, Associate Professor of Business Administration Janet Ewing, Caroline Bowles ’12, D.J. Daucette ’11, and Assistant Professor of Business Administration Joe Sprangel.
