An exhibition of recent drawings and prints entitled “The Space Between You and Me” by Richmond-based artist Nicole Andreoni will be on view at Mary Baldwin University’s Hunt Gallery from November 7 to December 2, 2011.
Nicole Andreoni was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia. She received her BFA in painting from Tyler School of Art in 2003. In 2001, she studied abroad through Temple University in Rome, Italy. She received her MFA in painting and printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2010. Andreoni is currently an adjunct instructor in the Art Foundation Program in the School of the Arts at Virginia Commonwealth Univeristy (VCU).
Her work has been shown in group and solo exhibitions at a variety of venues, including White Box Gallery in New York City, Gallery 5, 1708 Gallery, The Anderson Gallery at VCU, and Main Art Gallery in Richmond.
A reception will be held for the artist on Monday, November 7, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in Hunt Gallery. The public is invited to attend.
