In what has become a cherished tradition at Mary Baldwin, dozens of pumpkins are carved in front of the President's House to reveal an inspiring message on the eve of Halloween. Organized by Associate Vice President for Institutional Advancement Dan Layman, this year's proclamation borrows from the student tradition of wearing pearls; this year's college theme, "Wisdom;" and lyrics from the college's hymn.
