Dr. Stein joined 6th District Congressman Ben Cline (R) in Buena Vista Monday, as he held his annual higher education roundtable at Southern Virginia University. The presidents of Blue Ridge Community College, Radford University, Roanoke College, Southern Virginia University, and Washington and Lee University also attended.

The interview was at the Blackburn Inn prior to Stein leaving for campus where he was formally introduced to the school community at noon in James D. Francis Auditorium.

Dr. Jeffrey P. Stein, vice president for strategic initiatives & partnerships and assistant professor of English at Elon University, has been elected as Mary Baldwin University’s 10th president. Stein will be introduced at a special community gathering at noon, April 14, in James D. Francis Auditorium on MBU’s main campus.
