B. Kent Diduch, MD

B. Kent Diduch, MD, is a native Virginian who studied at the College of William and Mary before graduating from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He is a board-certified family physician who practiced in Bridgewater for 12 years before he transitioned into education. He started as a faculty member in the PA Program and Athletic Training Programs at JMU while also serving as their primary care team physician. He joined the faculty at Mary Baldwin PA Program in the summer of 2018 and was promoted to Program Director in 2020.

He enjoys teaching evidence based medicine, always incorporating biostatistics as a useful tool for the modern clinician. Dr. Diduch has partnered with several of the faculty members to revise the curriculum with a focus on clinical reasoning and competencies.

When not working, Dr. Diduch likes cycling and spending time with his family. His wife is a professor of economics at Mary Baldwin University and they have one daughter, who is pursuing a PhD in History.
