These costs apply to the Fall ’26, Spring ’27, and Summer ’27 semesters.

Post-Baccalaureate Direct Costs

The Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Licensure program is for students who have a bachelor’s degree, but seek teaching licensure without obtaining a graduate degree, Therefore, course standards and costs are equivalent to the undergraduate level.

The PBTL is traditionally an eighteen-month program requiring 4361 credits depending on concentration.

Graduate Direct Costs

The MA program is traditionally an 18–24-month program. The MAT and MS programs traditionally last 2 years, and the MEd lasts 1-2 years. Total credit hours vary by program and concentration.

PBTL and Graduate Indirect Costs

Students should also anticipate additional indirect costs such as books, supplies, travel, recreation, and personal items. These expenses are not billed by MBU but are considered when determining financial aid awards.
