Nursing RN to BSN to MSN Cost and Aid
Let’s look at the cost of an RN to BSN to MSN program at MBU and some of the ways we work with you to make your education affordable for you and your family.

Academic Year 2026–27
These costs apply to the Fall ’26, Spring ’27, and Summer ’27 semesters.
Direct Costs
| BSN Tuition | $333.33/credit hour |
| MSN Tuition | $650/credit hour |

MBU’s RN to BSN to MSN curriculum consists of 60 credit hours (30 hours each for BSN and MSN) and traditionally spans 24 months (3 semesters each for BSN and MSN).
We understand paying for college can be intimidating. MBU works with students to ensure that relevant coursework, as well as work and life experiences, count toward your degree, further minimizing tuition costs. That’s why US News & World Reports ranked MBU the No. 7 best value school in the south, and one of the top in the U.S. for boosting social mobility.

Students should also anticipate additional indirect costs such as books, supplies, travel, recreation, and personal items. These expenses are not billed by MBU but are considered when determining financial aid awards.

Summer Sequential Program
The School of Nursing’s Summer Sequential program allows students currently enrolled in a community college associate’s degree program to take MBU courses in the summer. These students are categorized as non-degree seeking and are, therefore, not eligible for financial aid.
