Groundskeeper/Campus Support
Mary Baldwin University is seeking two proactive and energetic individuals for the position of Groundskeeper/Campus Support. This is a 40 hours per week, full-time position with benefits.
Overview of the Position
Groundskeeper duties include mowing, weeding, trimming, planting, trash removal, mulching, and snow removal. Campus Support duties include set-up for campus events, delivery of supplies and equipment, and moving furniture.
Groundskeepers work primarily outside, in all seasons and weather. As essential personnel, work may be required occasionally on weekends and when the University is closed due to inclement weather.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and good driving record required.
- Heavy physical labor is involved, so must be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Must pass a background check.
