Charter Class Fully Enrolled

Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences has filled its inaugural class for occupational therapy (OT) and physical therapy (PT), and expects to welcome as many as 35 students to each of the new graduate programs. Five applications were received for each seat in the class, and accepted students bring a strong academic foundation, a background of service to their communities, and a desire to be part of a unique, interprofessional allied health program. Classes are set to begin in June.MDCHSlogo_gradation_2color_web

Recruitment for the next admissions cycle has already begun, with faculty and staff attending graduate fairs and college visits to meet prospective students. The college’s open house on April 12 welcomed more than 70 prospective students and provided an opportunity for students to learn more about the programs, meet faculty, and ask questions about the admissions process.

Applications for 2015 open soon through their respective centralized application services, with physician assistant studies starting in April, and OT and PT starting in July.  Prospective students may request more information at https://go.marybaldwin.edu/health_sciences/more_info/.
