Students Attend National Neuroscience Conference

Three Mary Baldwin University students attended and presented at the Society for Neuroscience Annual meeting in Washington DC last week. one of the largest scientific meetings in the world with more than 30,000 attendees. Students Kaela Kelly, Sophia Stone, and Kristia Vasiloff presented three posters about research conducted in the psychology department, sought out cutting edge research relevant to other projects in biology and chemistry, and made contacts with potential graduate programs. The students were accompanied by Professor of Psychology Louise Freeman.
