Those returning to Mary Baldwin in April for the All-Alumni Homecoming next month are invited to the Stonewall Jackson Hotel for a fun and festive event, “Downtown Staunton Celebrates Mary Baldwin’s 175th Anniversary,” from 6 to 9 p.m. April 21 in the hotel’s Shenandoah Ballroom. Attendees can socialize with alumni across the years while supporting downtown merchants. Alumni can expect to see many downtown shops welcoming and celebrating Mary Baldwin alumni.
All classes are also welcome to hold a class dinner on April 21 during Homecoming. Dinners are wonderful opportunities to connect with classmates while mixing and mingling at a restaurant, wine shop, or brewery. Alumni can choose from a list of Staunton establishments to make reservations. The Alumni Office is happy to help with recommendations and suggestions, however, coordination of class dinners are the responsibility of those organizing their respective dinners. Any contract that must be signed for a private event will be the responsibility of class dinner organizers.
