The MBU community gathered in Hunt Dining Hall and on the lawn at Rose Terrace for Holi, a Hindu festival celebrated across India that recognizes the beginning of spring. Also known as the Festival of Colors, Holi celebrations can now be found across the globe. At MBU, the event highlighted the university’s exchange partnership with Lady Doak College in Madurai, India, and students with close connections to India.
“Holi is a time that brings people together, not just to celebrate the beginning of the beautiful season of spring, but also to celebrate the beauty of our lives, our relationships, and our happiness. Holi is a time to throw colors at one another, shower each other with love, and paint with the colors of our lives.”
