Student Visits Support MBU at VA General Assembly (photos)

MBU students have traveled to Richmond this winter to help advocate for government support of their education and future careers at the Virginia General Assembly.

Undergraduates participated in Thanks for Tag Day, sponsored by the Council of Independent Colleges of Virginia, on January 28, and graduate students represented the Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences at the Virginia Physical Therapy Association Lobby Day on January 16 and the Virginia Occupational Therapy (OT) Association Legislative Day on February 5. Last fall, OT students also went to Washington, D.C., for the American Occupational Therapy Association’s Hill Day.
