Mary Baldwin Administrative Updates, January 2024

MBU is proud to announce some changes in executive leadership, featuring many familiar names.

This month, Mary Baldwin announced several important personnel transitions for executive staff to support work building the university’s future.

Dr. Paul Menzer, who previously served as director of the Shakespeare and Performance program, dean of visual and performing arts, and, most recently, vice president and dean of the Gold College of Arts and Sciences/dean of the faculty, has been appointed provost and professor of Shakespeare and Performance.

Dr. Amy Diduch, who most recently served as associate dean and director, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, has been appointed vice president and dean of the Gold College of Arts and Sciences and professor of economics.

Will Webb, previously executive vice president for academic affairs and dean of the Palmer College of Professional Studies, has been appointed chief growth officer and senior vice president and dean of the Palmer College of Professional Studies.

Liesel Nowak Crosier, associate vice president of integrated communications since 2017, has been appointed vice president for integrated communication.

Additionally Mary Harvey, who began in 2021 as associate vice president for advancement/campaign director and has served as interim vice president for advancement, was named vice president of advancement in December.

Together these individuals have a combined 60+ years of experience serving the MBU community, and will be key players in the university’s continued success.
