Her commitment to personal relationships and tailored service has earned her consistent recognition, including being named to the Wells Fargo Advisors Platinum Council from 2007 through 2023.

A proud alumna of Mary Baldwin, Tabb holds a bachelor of arts in business management and economics. She began her financial career at Morgan Stanley before joining Wells Fargo Advisors, where she thrives in a collaborative environment focused on client-centered solutions.

Beyond her professional achievements, Tabb is a dedicated community leader. She has served on several nonprofit boards, including Family Lifeline, Virginia Supportive Housing, and the Mary Baldwin Alumni Board. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Children’s Museum of Richmond. Her commitment to service, education, and empowerment aligns deeply with the values of Mary Baldwin.

“Loretta will be an incredible asset to the university,” President Jeff Stein lauded her return to the MBU community. “Experienced in real estate and finance, and passionate about Mary Baldwin, Loretta is a talented and dedicated alumna ready to support Mary Baldwin’s growth and long-term sustainability. We are thrilled she has agreed to serve on the Board.”

Tabb lives in Goochland with her husband, Syd, their Labrador, two cats, and several hens. Together, they enjoy a life of travel, gardening, cooking, and community involvement. She is also the proud mother of two grown daughters, to whom she has instilled the importance of hard work, global curiosity, and giving back.

As we welcome Tabb to the Board, we also extend our deepest gratitude to two outgoing trustees: Donna Dearman Smith ‘70 and Mike Matthews. Their leadership, vision, and tireless support of Mary Baldwin have left a lasting impact on our community, and we thank them for their dedicated service.
