I am thrilled to be returning to my alma mater to help prospective students find their home at MBU! I am currently ABD (All But Dissertation) status working on writing my research to attain my PhD in Theatre History and Performance Studies at the University of Washington School of Drama. While in Seattle, UW granted me a graduate certificate in Textual and Digital Studies in the spring of 2024. Additionally, I received my MLitt (2019) and MFA (2021) in Shakespeare and Performance from Mary Baldwin’s graduate program and hold my MS in Educational Psychology from Capella University (2020). I also received my BA double majoring in Theatre and English and double minoring in Cinema Studies and Dance from Wittenberg University (2017). I have trained at the Folger Shakespeare Library Scholarly Programs and the University of Virginia’s Rare Book School to expand my knowledge in early modern textual studies.

Despite my sincere passion for the Shenandoah Valley, I am a Steelers fan at heart as I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. There I attended North Allegheny School District (studying at the same school where my high school sweetheart parents met) and honed my theatrical skills at Act One Theatre School’s Professional Training Program. When I return home to my condo at the end of the work day I am always greeted with the sweetest little tail wags from my dog, Puck. When not working at MBU, I can be found behind the pages of the newest released romantasy novel, writing about all things Shakespearean textual culture, or singing in the choir at St. John of the Evangelist Parish.
