Angela Gladwell

Angela (Angie) Gladwell serves as Admissions Coordinator for the Physician Assistant Program.  She brings more than 25 years of public service and leadership experience to the role, including senior executive positions with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). At Murphy Deming, she enjoys helping prospective students navigate the admissions process and supporting the faculty and staff who are preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Throughout her career, Angela has focused on building programs, developing people, and helping individuals and organizations navigate complex transitions.  Her work has spanned disaster recovery, resilience, organizational leadership, and workforce development, with a consistent emphasis on service and creating systems that work well for the people they are intended to support.

Angela holds a B.A. in Historic Preservation, an M.A. in Urban Affairs and Public Policy, and is an International Coaching Federation certified coach.  A native of the Waynesboro-Staunton area, she returned to the Shenandoah Valley in 2025 and is active in the Waynesboro Rotary Club and is a Board member for the United Way of the Central Shenandoah Valley.
