Chris Johnston

Adjunct Faculty – Shakespeare and Performance

Chris Johnston is an actor and music director who has performed all over the country for theaters such as The American Shakespeare Center, Salt Lake Shakespeare, Black Dog Theatre Company (founding member), and The Egyptian Theatre Company.

His music directing credits include the World Premiere of The Willard Suitcases, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, Return to the Forbidden Planet, Peter and the Starcatcher, and several other titles.

After receiving an MFA in Shakespeare & Performance from Mary Baldwin University and performing in over 120 productions for the American Shakespeare Center he has caught the pedagogical bug and prefers to spend his time in the classroom sharing his love for Shakespeare and theatre with the next generation of performers.
