Christopher Simons, DNAP, CRNA

Christopher Simons, DNAP, CRNA, is a practicing Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesiologist at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System, where he is a member of the CRNA Liver Transplant Team and serves as a clinical preceptor and advisor for student registered nurse anesthesiologists. Dr. Simons earned his Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice from Virginia Commonwealth University, where he served as class president and received multiple awards for professional excellence. His clinical interests include enhanced recovery after anesthesia, perioperative safety, and anesthesia considerations for liver transplants. He has presented nationally and published on the safety and efficacy of perioperative norepinephrine administration. Dr. Simons is actively involved in professional organizations, currently serving as Vice President of the Virginia Association of Nurse Anesthesiologists.
