Elena Lavrentyeva

Originally from Petrozavodsk, Russia, Elena relocated to Charlottesville in 2008 and earned a B.A. in French Language and Literature and an M.T. in Elementary Education from the University of Virginia in 2012, followed by an endorsement in Administration and Supervision in 2019. She brings 12 years of experience as an elementary educator in Albemarle County Public Schools, where she cultivated a strong commitment to student development and academic success. Now in her third year as a Student Success Advisor at MBU, she provides academic guidance to students majoring in Business, Marketing, and Strategic Communication.
