Katie Peltz MPAS, PA-C

Kathleen (Katie) Peltz, PA-C, has over a decade of diverse clinical experience spanning acute care, primary care, sports medicine, orthopedics, women’s health and psychiatry,. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and her MPAS at James Madison University. More than half her career was spent in the U.S. Navy where she practiced in high acuity and limited resource environments, often serving as an independent provider and clinical leader.

Her background includes extensive experience in patient education, mentorship, and interdisciplinary collaboration. She is passionate about preparing the next generation of Physician Assistants through clinically relevant, student centered education, with a focus on building confidence and real world clinical decision making. She looks forward to supporting students as they grow into capable, compassionate providers.

Outside of work, she is a mom of two and enjoys spending as much time outdoors with her kids as possible. They stay busy on their farm caring for the horses, chickens and pigs and her kids are dedicated 4-H members. She is an active volunteer with the local SPCA and fosters for them regularly. Much of her free time is spent hiking or camping with her kids and exploring the outdoors together.
