Syn McDonald, MA, MPPA, BCBA, LBA

Syn McDonald is a BCBA licensed to practice in the state of Missouri. She holds a B.A. in Psychology, a Master’s in Public Policy Administration, and two graduate certificates in Women & Gender Studies and Non-Profit Management & Leadership, all from University of Missouri-St. Louis. She also earned a Master’s Degree in Behavior Analysis from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2005. Syn has practiced in the field of ABA over 20 years and has worked in a variety of settings including intermediate care facilities, public school systems, group homes, and private residencies. She currently serves as an Area Behavior Analyst for Missouri where she leads systems-level efforts to identify, monitor, and address practices that may pose ethical, clinical, or safety concerns for individuals being served. She is responsible for system-level analysis, design, and intervention, including developing state guidelines, analyzing data to guide service improvements, creating processes, and leading initiative such as chairing behavior review committees and providing individual consultation to teams serving high risk clients. Syn values kindness and collaboration, while working to support others through mentorship and advocacy.
