Victor Snow

Victor Snow teaches undergraduate and graduate teacher preparation courses in science education, social studies education, instructional strategies, classroom management, instructional coaching and mentoring, and comparative education. He earned his Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University in 2017, where his doctoral research examined educator perspectives and at-risk student experiences related to the European refugee crisis.

Dr. Snow has taught science, social studies, and education courses in public schools, international schools, and higher education settings on three continents. He has experience as a pedagogical advisor at an accredited European School and a university counselor at an IB World School, both in Germany, and as an accreditation coordinator at an international school in Taipei, Taiwan. Prior to entering education, Dr. Snow was a non-commissioned officer in the United States Army, an experience he credits with shaping his perspectives on leadership, teamwork, accountability, and educator development.

Drawing on his background in military service, public education, international schools, and higher education, Dr. Snow brings a global perspective to teacher preparation and curriculum studies. His research interests include science as a way of knowing, comparative and international education, and the ways globalization influences educational systems, instructional practices, and student learning.
