Congratulations on your acceptance to Mary Baldwin University! To ensure you’re ready for your first day of classes, please review the entire New Student Checklist and complete each task before its due date.

After you pay your deposit, the Office of Information Technology will send your MBU username and password (PIN) to the email address in your application. You will use the same login credentials for your MBU Gmail and MyMBU account.
MBU Gmail
Stay connected with important updates and announcements by regularly checking your MBU Gmail account. All correspondence related to your studies will be sent to this email address.
MyMBU online portal
The MyMBU portal provides a wealth of important information, including the academic calendar, billing and account details, course syllabi, forms and documents, grades, and your schedule (when available).
Submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to qualify for student loans, grants, work-study, and scholarships—and just for completing it, you’ll receive a $1,000 scholarship!

If you have not done so already, please request your official transcripts* be sent to MBU. You can email your transcripts to admit@marybaldwin.edu or digitally request them via Parchment, eScrip-Safe, or Clearinghouse.

*If you have earned college credit through AP, IB, or dual enrollment courses taken during high school, you must submit the following:
- Official AP/IB Score Reports
- Official transcript from the college or university that sponsored the dual enrollment course(s).
Credit will be awarded based on these official documents, not your high school transcript.
Before classes begin, join us for one (or more!) of our live virtual sessions designed to help you feel confident and prepared for your transition to MBU.
At these sessions you’ll:
- Meet the Student Engagement team
- Get answers to your move-in questions
- Learn what to expect beyond Orientation

Pathways is a step-by-step guide to help you prepare for your first year at MBU. You’ll find information and instructions for both academic and student life, along with useful contact information. A link to access the Pathways Dashboard will be sent to your MBU email address.
As part of this dashboard, students must submit the following:
- Campus Living and Housing forms (all students must complete, even if you’re planning to commute)
- Housing accommodations form
- Off-Campus housing request form (optional)
- Medical/academic accommodations (if needed)
- Meal plan selection for transfers and commuter students
- Emergency contact form
- Health forms
- ID badge form
- Register vehicle/Parking permit (if applied)
- Student Account Forms
- Intent to Pay form
- FERPA form
The academic interest pre-registration form gives your advisors information about your academic interests and prior study, so we can craft a first semester schedule that’s made for you.

As an MBU student, you have access to FREE, 24/7 mental healthcare services through the virtual health and well-being platform, TimelyCare — designed especially for college students.

Prior to move in, all undergraduates will be invited to a Summer Orientation on June 27 or July 25. You can look forward to fun and informative activities that will allow you to review your Baldwin Bound checklist items and meet other members of the class of 2030.

Virtual Financial Aid Information Sessions

These information sessions are specifically designed to review your financial aid award letter information and to be a resource for you and your family as you navigate these important details.
During this session you can ask the questions you may have about your overall cost, payment plans or next steps.
If you have not completed your FAFSA (with MBU School Code 003723) please do so in order to partake in this session.
This event is for all undergraduate MBU Accepted Students for Fall 2026.
