Application Deadlines
Mary Baldwin University offers rolling admissions for its online programs. That means you can apply anytime throughout the year. We accept applications right up until the day classes start.
Please complete your FAFSA application and submit it at the same time as your MBU application.

Online Scholarships
Mary Baldwin University provides several scholarship opportunities for online students. These include:
- Alumni’s Best and Brightest Scholarship: A one-time $500 scholarship.
- Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship: A $1,500 merit scholarship for community
- college students.
- First Responder Scholarship: Up to $1,000 annually for students employed in emergency services.
- Community Leader Scholarship: A $1,000 scholarship for students employed at a Virginia Chamber of Commerce member company.
- Military Leader Scholarship: A $1,000 annual discount for honorably discharged military personnel and their dependents.
Individual programs may also have program-specific scholarships. Consult the Financial Aid Office for information.
