The GI Bill Application

Find out how to apply for the GI Bill and other VA education benefits as a Veteran, service member, or qualified family member on the Veteran’s Affairs website.

MBU Veteran’s Benefits Request Form

Students who have applied to receive VA benefits must complete the Veteran’s Benefits Request Form. The School Certifying Official for Veteran’s Benefits can be reached by contacting the Financial Aid Office at 540-887-7301 or at vabenefits@marybaldwin.edu.

Training and Education Alliance (TEA)

MBU is also a member of the Training and Education Alliance through the Virginia Department of Veterans Services (VDVS). To learn more, visit the VDVS website.

Transferring VA Benefits

Veterans may be able to transfer GI Bill benefits to their spouse or dependent child. This two-step process can be completed by the veteran and the intended recipient of the benefits at www.gibill.va.gov.

Yellow Ribbon Program

The Yellow Ribbon Program can help you pay for higher out-of-state, private school, foreign school, or graduate school tuition and fees that the GI Bill doesn’t cover.
