FILM 119: Introduction to Video Production

Mary Baldwin University invites applications for an adjunct professor to teach Introduction to Video Production beginning August 24, 2026. The department is seeking an individual with a strong commitment to inclusive pedagogies as well as enthusiasm for the environment of a small student-centered university. The successful candidate will be able to teach a hands-on introduction to video production in which students learn camera operation and composition, nonlinear editing using Final Cut Pro, and audio fundamentals. Projects span a range of forms — narrative filmmaking, documentary, experimental work, broadcast formats, and video blogging — giving students both technical grounding and creative range.
