Virginia Private College Week
July 20-25, 2026
During Virginia Private College Week, MBU will host twice daily information sessions and campus tours to give you a feel for Mary Baldwin. As a special treat, you can cool down on campus with a free gelato from The Split Banana, a favorite local shop!
Stroll Downtown Staunton
Mary Baldwin is a few minutes’ walk from beautiful downtown Staunton, the “Queen City” of Virginia. Experience the rich history of museums like the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library, gripping performances at The Blackfriars Playhouse, and fresh, local cuisine.
Adventure in Shenandoah
The Shenandoah Valley is home to some of the most gorgeous vistas and scenic trails in the nation. Take a ride on Skyline Drive to trek the historic Blue Ridge Mountains. Or, try a hike in Shenandoah National Park for good exercise and even better views.
