There is no requirement to submit a GRE or GMAT test score.
Admissions Requirements
All education programs require the following:
- A minimum GPA: 3.0
- English language proficiency
If you are interested in pursuing an MAT or MEd for initial teacher licensure or additional endorsements, there may be further admissions requirements.
The following programs require a Virginia teaching license:
- Elementary Education MEd
- Gifted Education MEd
- Reading Education MEd (will accept expired teaching license; must have successfully completed at least three years of full-time teaching before program completion OR be in the process of concluding your third year of full-time teaching during your last semester of the program.)
- Special Education MEd (valid Virginia teaching license in Elementary Education or Middle/Secondary core content areas.)
