Interprofessional by Design
Get the experiential learning, knowledge, and skills you need to truly make a difference in someone’s life.
Each individual curriculum at MDCHS has been developed in collaboration with the other programs to ensure students are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to be part of a successful healthcare team. In this way, students interact with professors and other students interprofessionally to build a more rounded educational foundation.
The research is clear: an interprofessional approach to healthcare results in more competent clinicians and better healthcare delivery.

Connections with Our Community
Engaged. Knowledgeable. Professional. Well-prepared. Involved. These are just some of the words our preceptors and community partners use to describe our students. We know you’ll arrive at MDCHS with a strong sense of community and a sincere desire to impact the lives of others. We will build on this strength through extensive coursework and clinical experiences that engender interprofessional interactions and community focused projects. You will be continuously encouraged to participate in professional organizations and to attend and present at national and international conferences.
