President’s Office

The President’s Office holds a significant role within Mary Baldwin, representing the highest level of leadership and decision-making. We serve as the central hub for strategic planning, administration, and communication between various stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, alumni, and external entities. As the head of Mary Baldwin, President Jeff Stein is responsible for guiding the institution toward its mission, vision, and goals.

The President works closely with other senior administrators, deans, and department heads to establish academic priorities, develop institutional policies, and make crucial decisions that impact the university’s growth and development. This involves overseeing strategic planning initiatives, ensuring adherence to academic standards, and promoting innovation in teaching, research, and community engagement.

Our Leadership Team

Our Executive Staff and Board of Trustees are all in on making Mary Baldwin a place of opportunity and growth for our students.

Strategic Planning

MBU 2035 is our strategic plan to guide Mary Baldwin’s development and adapt to the changing landscape of higher education.

I am honored and humbled to be chosen as Mary Baldwin University’s 10th president and thrilled to be joining this dynamic community, which for 181 years has made courageous decisions to change lives through inclusive, experiential, and student-centered education.

JEFF STEIN, PRESIDENT
