Liesel Nowak

Liesel Nowak serves as Chief of Staff and Vice President for Strategic Initiatives at Mary Baldwin University, where she also oversees university communication. Working directly with the president, she coordinates institutional priorities across the leadership team.

In nearly two decades at Mary Baldwin, Liesel has held leadership roles across communications and enrollment management, including Vice President for Integrated Communication and Interim Vice President for Enrollment Management.

A journalist by training, Liesel brings a reporter’s discipline to institutional communication: clarity, specificity, and a focus on the audience.
