Global Engagement
Global engagement refers to knowledge of international issues and cultures that leads to active cross-cultural and global involvement. Being globally-engaged can happen here in the U.S., or may take you abroad to other parts of the world.
To promote global engagement, the Spencer Center provides co-curricular programs and events on campus that highlight specific cultures and current global issues, promotes cross-cultural activities within our diverse campus community, and offers the opportunity for university credit through study abroad programs at sites across the globe.
Benefits of Participation: Deepen your knowledge of your major and minor through global contexts; enhance your cross-cultural and intercultural skills, and expand career possibilities.
