WebMD Programs/Challenges

Five To Thrive Nutritional Challenge

This challenge is designed to promote positive eating habits and to provide tips about how to work more fruits and vegetables into your diet. Have fun working on wellness while tracking your fruit and vegetable intake.

How do I participate?

Registration opens Jan. 25, and goes through Feb. 8

The challenge begins on Feb. 1, and ends on Feb. 28. We encourage you to record your daily fruit and vegetable intake, so that you stay on track towards reaching your nutrition goals.

How much is a serving of fruits and/or vegetables?

A serving of vegetables equals two cups of raw leafy vegetables; one cup of chopped, cooked or canned vegetables; or one cup of vegetable juice.

A serving of fruit equals one medium fruit (about the size of a baseball); 1/2 cup chopped, cooked or canned fruit; or 1/2 cup of fruit juice.

Register and record your progress at www.webmdhealth.com/vpc

Make sure to log your progress by 6 p.m. ET on March 7 to get credit for the challenge.
