The team at MBU Health, Counseling, and Wellness is committed to providing the best care to all students, faculty, and staff we serve. We offer healthcare services through a partnership with Augusta Health Urgent Care, mental health support, and counseling, plus coordinate health education and communicate medical information.
Faculty and staff support is provided through MBU’s wellness program, and additional resources such as Anthem’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

During your college years, there may be times when personal stressors interfere with your academic performance and/or negatively impact your daily life. These stressors may include anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, strained relationships, discrimination, substance use, and more. If these stressors are making it difficult for you to function, getting help is a smart and courageous thing to do. Respiratory Illness
Respiratory Illness Guidelines
During cough and cold season (mid- fall to early spring each year), the university community is encouraged to follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Virginia Department of Health recommendations for prevention and management of respiratory illnesses. These include influenza, COVID, and the common cold.
