Welcome to the Business & Technology Neighborhood at Mary Baldwin University! Students in this neighborhood tend to have analytical minds and are strong strategic thinkers.
During your first year at MBU, you’ll live with other Business & Technology students in the Woodson Residence Hall. You’ll also study and take classes together, and enjoy special activities tailored to your interests.

Learn the art and science of connecting with audiences through branding, market research, and digital strategies to drive business success. Our marketing program integrates digital skills throughout the curriculum, including appropriate use of AI. Concentration options include: Marketing Management, Integrated Marketing and Consumer Insights.
Our Mathematics program teaches strong analytical and problem-solving skills. These skills are increasingly in demand at businesses across industries for data analysis, consumer behavior modeling, financial modeling, operations optimization, market trends analysis, and more!
Our Strategic Communication major will prepare you for careers in advertising, marketing, PR, digital strategy, and social media, all of which involve utilizing language, and media, to effectively communicate a company or organization’s message. It also covers the critical topic of crisis management.

Accelerated Bachelor’s to MBA
Want to save time and money in earning a dual degree? MBU’s Accelerated Pathways program lets you earn both a bachelor’s degree in any subject and an MBA in just five years!
